Abstract As for the composite photocatalysts, the carrier transfer mechanism at the heterojunction has a very important impact on their photocatalytic performances. In this work, the bandgap of Zn x Cd 1‐ x S‐DETA can be tuned by adjusting the ratio of Cd 2+ /Zn 2+ . With the change of the bandgap of Zn x Cd 1‐ x S‐DETA, the carrier transfer mechanism at the ZnO/Zn x Cd 1‐ x S‐DETA heterojunction changes from Type‐I to S‐scheme, and the photocatalytic properties of ZnO/Zn x Cd 1‐ x S‐DETA nanocomposites also change. Among them, the ZnO/Zn 0.5 Cd 0.5 S‐DETA nanocomposite has the best photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity under visible light, and its hydrogen evolution rate is 2.58 mmol g −1 h −1 . In addition, after seven cycles, the ZnO/Zn 0.5 Cd 0.5 S‐DETA nanocomposite photocatalyst has no significant decrease in hydrogen evolution rate, which is showing its excellent stability. This work reveals that the carrier transfer mechanism at the heterojunction of composite photocatalysts can be changed by the modulation of bandgap, which provides an effective idea for the development of photocatalysts.
To investigate the effects of straw residues with reduced nitrogen (N) fertilizer on greenhouse gas (GHG) and N losses in paddy fields, we conducted a field experiment during two growing seasons in paddy rice systems in southern China to evaluate the impacts of the application of straw residues with reduced N fertilizer on rice yield, GHG emissions, and ammonia (NH3) volatilization. The four treatments included N100 (conventional dose of N fertilizer), SN100 (conventional dose of N fertilizer + straw), N60 (60% of the conventional dose of N fertilizer), and SN60 (60% of the conventional dose of N fertilizer + straw). We found that the yield of the SN60 treatment was slightly reduced, but the partial factor productivity of applied N (PFPN) was significantly increased by 63.9% compared to the N100 treatment. At the same N application rate, the application of straw increased soil organic C (SOC), methane (CH4) emissions, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, global warming potential (GWP), greenhouse gas intensity (GHGI), and net ecosystem carbon budget (NECB), but significantly decreased soil N2O emissions and NH3 volatilization. Compared with conventional fertilization (N100), straw residues with reduced N fertilization (SN60) reduced N2O emissions and NH3 volatilization by 42.1% and 23.9%, and increased GHGI and NECB by 11.1% and 18.3%, respectively. The results indicate that straw residues with reduced N fertilizer are a feasible strategy to reduce N losses in paddy fields while increasing carbon sequestration.
In existing researches on containment control of heterogeneous multi-agent systems (MASs), the solution is usually dependent on the solvability of regulator equations. However, the closed-form solution of many nonlinear regulator equations of systems is rarely obtained. Towards this end, in this paper the containment control problem of heterogeneous discrete-time nonlinear MASs subject to parameter uncertainties is considered, and the power series approach is adopted to solve complex regulator equations by decomposing them into a series of solvable linear equations. Then, a distributed robust control law based on internal model principle is presented by utilising the solution of the linear equations. Theoretical analysis shows that under certain assumptions asymptotic containment control is achieved for the heterogeneous discrete-time nonlinear MASs with sufficiently small parameter perturbations. Finally, a numerical simulation is implemented to verify the proposed control law.
This study analyzed the interaction between copper and functional substances in wine under different drinking amounts on alcoholic liver injury in mice. When the daily drinking amount reached 500 mL/60 kg/day (14% abv) with just ethyl alcohol, the liver aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, and total triglyceride levels of mice were significantly increased to 130.71 U/L, 37.45 U/L, 2.55 U/L, the total antioxidant capacity, catalase, and glutathione level decreased significantly to 1.01 U/mL, 30.20 U/mgprot, and 2.10 U/mgprot, and the liver became gradually damaged. Wine could alleviate and reduce the damage caused by ethyl alcohol well. Low concentrations of copper (0.33, 0.66 mg/L) in wine hardly caused hepatic injury in mice and only significantly improved the aspartate aminotransferase values (109.21 U/L, 127.29 U/L) of serum. Combined with the staining evidence, in the case of medium and high intragastric doses (≥500 mL/60 kg/day), 0.99 mg/L copper (the maximum allowed by China's national standards) in wine began to damage the liver, indicating that under this concentration, the damage of copper to the liver had begun to exceed the protective effect of wine's functional substances on alcoholic hepatic injury. At all experimental doses, high concentrations (1.33 mg/L, 2.00 mg/L) of copper significantly aggravated alcoholic hepatic injury in mice, indicating that high concentrations of copper have a great toxicological risk. In the future, it is necessary to further strengthen the control of copper content in wine and the inspection of market wines in order to protect the health of consumers.
