In this research, the relationship between the teaching of professional subjects and student satisfaction with the quality of professional teaching and practical forms of teaching was examined. Special emphasis is placed on the study of the impact of educational dimensions on the quality of professional teaching. These are: the development of key competences, the use of modern teaching tools and cross-subject correlation, and the use of different teaching methods and techniques in professional teaching in secondary vocational school. For the purposes of this research, an adapted PoS (Prism of Sustainability) model was used, which was conceived on the application of the technique of surveying students and their parents, using a written questionnaire as an instrument in the research. A total of 129 respondents (70 students and 59 parents) expressed their views on the claims that can indicate the quality of the teaching of professional subjects. In addition, the respondents evaluated the statements related to the impact of professional teaching on student satisfaction with the quality of such teaching. The collected data were processed and analyzed with the help of statistical software SPSS v.21. After examining the reliability of the scales and variables, the obtained data were presented with the help of tables. The results of the research indicate significant influences of educational dimensions on the quality of teaching professional subjects, which fully confirmed the auxiliary hypotheses. In addition, the research established that professional teaching significantly contributes to student satisfaction with the quality of teaching, thus the main hypothesis is fully accepted. The results of this research can help in the design of teaching in secondary vocational schools and in the preparation of operational and individual teaching plans.
Ecosystems, water supplies, and tourism all benefit from the protection of forest regions. All the above affect the possibility for tourism to prosper in forested areas. Tikvara Nature Park (TNP) has significant tourist potential for the development of specific and sustainable forms of tourism because it has direct contact with the Danube River, which forms the Upper Danube Region. This nature park has a significant forested area, inhabited by rare species of flora and fauna. In addition, there are wetlands, which are inhabited by rare species of birds, aquatic animals, and plants. Ecological and socio-cultural sustainability are the subjects of research in this article. It was possible to observe all possibilities for the growth of tourism based on nature by analyzing sustainable tourism by applying an extended PoS study method. The results of this research indicate that the two examined dimensions have a significant impact on the state and perspective of tourism development in this nature park. Also, sustainable tourism has an impact on the satisfaction of respondents through ecological and socio-cultural factors of the destination. Analysis of the results indicates that the respondents are ready to harmonize their activities with ecological principles in this protected area. Researching these two dimensions of sustainable tourism development (STuD) is important for tourism planning, growth, and nature protection control. This study’s significant results demonstrate the importance of environmental and socio-cultural elements for tourism development (ToD), and their substantial influence on tourism sustainability (ToS) and local and visitor satisfaction. Plans for the growth of sustainable tourism might be significantly influenced by research findings.
Sustainable tourism development of the northern part of Serbia in Autonomous Province of Vojvodina aims to achieve ecological, sociocultural, and economic benefits. This means that all entities should be included in the planning and implementation of tourism, such as the local community, tourists, and state entities, while tourism activity should be focused on improving ecological principles and sociocultural conception in a destination. One of the models of this development is seen in specific products that can play a significant role in tourism development. Such an authentic product is wine, which has a very important role in the promotion of tourism. The aim of this paper is to explore Vojvodina—the region of Serbia—as a valuable wine tourism destination in the country, especially the experiences of the wine routes. We use descriptive statistics techniques to summarize and present the data and adopt a correlation analysis technique to describe respondents’ preference on the importance of the wine routes. In the empirical survey, the main conclusion is a positive correlation that by developing wine tourism in Vojvodina, we can influence economic development of the region.
Economic development, the impacts of tourism on the economy and monetary policy, the development of destinations such as a mountain, coastal, urban and rural, impacts on the domicile population and participants of the travel, are a constant topic in the debates of broad global economic and demographic scientific structures. Tourism as a factor of the revitalization of certain regions is often mentioned. The development of tourism in these areas can improve the bad economic situation. Likewise, ethnic-social values, which make the authenticity of a particular area, strengthening through tourism, can raise the image of the destination to the highest levels. This would also contribute to economic balance because non-tourist-valued areas would get a chance to engage in important tourism potentials. Therefore, tourism is given the power to foster the socioeconomic and demographic development of the country, and it is no wonder that tourism is written as development potential.
Countryside walking tourism contributes to sustainable rural socio-economic development. The purpose of the research is to observe the possibility of managing countryside walking tourism in a village according to the expectations of tourists during their travel and vacation in rural destinations. The research methodology was based on a descriptive statistical analysis using the survey for gathering data from the rural tourism demand market, and the VICE model for sustainable tourism for getting conclusions. The key result indicated that countryside walking tourism management should consider the tourists' expectations related to the clean environment. It preserved nature as the most influencing factor in the choice of a walking tour in rural destinations, and at the same time, it is more important to the female than to the male population. The authors recommend incorporating countryside walking tourism into walking strategies as a part of rural and tourism development policies.
The sustainable development of tourism in protected areas and the planning of its development is extremely important for mountain regions. The local population and tourists have a very important role in this process. Therefore, surveys of the local population and visitor satisfaction represent the basis of this research. The Vršac Mountains Outstanding Natural Landscape (ONL) could represent a significant destination for sustainable tourism. This mountainous area is characterized by a favorable geographical position, a diversity of natural and social factors, rare flora and fauna, and the rich ethno-social heritage of the local population. It is in a very favorable geographical position, and the proximity of the big cities Serbia and Romania, as well as many other factors, are important for tourism development in this area. A quantitative methodology was used for the purposes of this paper during our research. The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of tourism development on the satisfaction of residents and visitors of the ONL by applying a survey technique, with the help of a questionnaire as a research instrument. A total of 1419 respondents were surveyed (789 residents and 630 visitors). The research results show that the ecological and socio-cultural dimensions of sustainability have the greatest importance for the respondents, and that these two dimensions of sustainability have the greatest impact on sustainable tourism in this protected area. Our main research hypothesis, which states that sustainable tourism has a positive impact on the satisfaction of residents and visitors, is fully confirmed. These data could be significant for tourism planning and the management of protected areas.

The Special Nature Reserve “Titelski Breg” (TB) is a protected area (PA) of category I, located in the AP of Vojvodina in the south-eastern part of Bačka. The reserve covers an area of 496 ha. A protection zone covering an area of 8643 ha has been established around the PA. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) states that this PA is classified as a category IV habitat and species management area. Its good geographical and traffic position and close distance to Romania and Hungary, as well as the nation’s major cities, make this PA accessible to a sizable number of both domestic and foreign tourists. There are numerous plant and animal species in the reserve, which makes this area unique. The population living around this reserve has an exceptional and valuable cultural heritage, which represents significant complementary tourist motives. To examine the state of sustainable tourism (SuT) in TB and the impact of SuT on the satisfaction of the respondents (SoR), the PoS model of study was used. The quantitative methodology in this research included a questionnaire as the survey instrument for residents and visitors. There were 630 respondents altogether (400 locals and 230 guests). Four aspects of sustainability, economic, social, cultural, and institutional, were used to analyze the state of SuT in this PA. The study’s findings show that SuT significantly affected the SoR. Analyzing the role that additional protected areas may have in SuT can be supported by the research outcomes. Additionally, the proportion of each sustainability characteristic in SuT can suggest guidelines for national programs that aim to develop PAs and tourist development at the same time.
The area of the Special Nature Reserve "Deliblatska pešĉara" has a huge capital of pristine nature. On the one hand, this is an important area for plant and animal species, while, on the other hand, it is attractive for tourists as important users of place. Tourism and forms that are manifested in a specific area are subjected to intensive scientific-professional analysis of different goals and tasks. In addition to monitoring the volume of tourism flow, it is also important to analyze the effects on ecosystem values within destinations. Such effects are mainly manifested on environmental elements such as air and water, but they are nothing less manifested on coastal areas, urban and mountain areas. All these effects are analyzed in this paper. Attractive tourism areas are also valuable biocoenosis which is inhabited with endemic plant and animal species. Besides that, those are the areas with fragile ecosystems, swamps, areas important for the protection of biodiversity, where ecological niche and valence are the priority in environment protection systems.
