
Dr Tran Chi Vinh Long is a Vietnamese clinical psychologist and researcher with more than a decade of experience in academic teaching and applied mental health research. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Mental Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. His scholarly work is guided by a strong commitment to international collaboration and the advancement of evidence-based practices in psychology, aiming to integrate research, education, and community mental health practice to improve psychological care and mental health promotion in Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asian region. Dr Long earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Sciences from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, under the supervision of Prof. Michael Maes. His doctoral dissertation examined the neuro-immune mechanisms underlying mild cognitive impairment in older adults. To date, he has co-authored more than 75 peer-reviewed publications indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, and he serves on the editorial boards of BMC Psychology and Discover Psychology. Dr Long has broad clinical and research interests, which include: 1. Mental health and psychological well-being among students and communities 2. Help-seeking behavior and mental health stigma 3. Neuro-immune mechanisms and cognitive aging, particularly mild cognitive impairment 4. Psychological distress, resilience, and social determinants of mental health 5.
