Turkologist and Turkish Language and Literature teacher. Her research focuses on Old Turkish Literature, Sufi poetry, Divan poetry, and number symbolism in Turkish literature. Her master’s thesis, The Mystery of Numbers in Turkish Sufi Poetry, examined the use and symbolic functions of numbers in the divans of 16 Sufi poets from the 13th to the 20th centuries.
