His research focuses on environmental nanotechnology for water and wastewater treatment including the removal of pollutants using different nanomaterials (nanosheets, nanotubes, nanofibers, nanocomposites, and nanoparticles). The main processes are adsorption, advanced oxidation, enzymatic, and membrane.
