Haofen Wang

Haofen Wang, Ph.D. in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was awarded with the title of Excellent Ph.D. in Shanghai and selected as Distinguished Researcher Fellow of the Hundred Talents Program of Tongji University. His research interests and expertise focus on Knowledge Graph(KG), Artificial Intelligence(AI), Natural Language Processing(NLP), conversational user interaction(CUI), and intelligent content creation. He is one of the founders of OpenKG, the world's largest Chinese open knowledge graph alliance. He published "Practice for Natural Language Processing", "Method, Practice and Application for Knowledge Graph" and other books. He has also been invited as a speaker at many international and domestic intelligence summits, including the World Artificial Intelligence Conference(WAIC). He has served as the chairman of the Knowledge Graph direction at NLPCC, the top domestic conference on natural language processing for many times, and has long been a member of the program committees of top international conferences on Artificial Intelligence such as ISWC, WWW, and AAAI. He participates and takes responsible for more than 10 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 863 Major projects, and AI-related projects supported by Science and Technology Support of Ministry of Science and Technology, Economic and Information Commission and Science and Technology Commission, and published more than 100 high-level papers in the AI field. He has also been a CTO in the first-line Artificial Intelligence companies for a long time, awarded the Discipline Leader Talent Program in Xuhui District. He has built the world's first interactive virtual idol - "Hupo·Xuyan". The smart chatbot for customer service he built has served more than 1 billion users, and was successfully selected as the best AI application case by China Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance.
