The anionic polymn. of styrene could be successfully performed in a com. automated parallel synthesizer. A convenient and cheap methodol. for reaching the required inert conditions to obtain reproducible expts. and reliable results is proposed. The obtained results are in concordance with the literature knowledge and are reproducible.
