Synthesis and Structure of Ph 3 PNRe(NC 6 H 3 i Pr 2 ;‐2,6) 3 ‐ An Aza‐Rhenium (VII) Compound. Ph 3 PNReO 3 ( 1 ) reacts with three equivalents of 2,6‐diisopropylphenyl isocyanate with evolution of CO 2 to give the title compound 2 . The X‐ray single crystal structure of 2 exhibits a rhenium atom tetrahedrally coordinated to four nitrogen atoms (space group P 3).
