PR-12-9314-R01 Polarization where Coated Pipelines are Protected by Sacrificial Anodes

Demonstrates the concept of using surface or subsurface potential surveys to assess the effectiveness of cathodic protection of coated pipelines. Two electrical analogs have been developed to simulate bot discrete and parallel ribbon sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems; the performance of which is compared to field data.
