Ischemic stroke risk in East Asian patients with CHA<sub>2</sub>DS<sub>2</sub>-VASc score of 1: systematic review and meta-analysis — Ying Bai (2017) | RDL Network
Some regional differences between East Asian countries were observed for ischemic stroke risk in patients with a CHA<sub>2</sub>DS<sub>2</sub>-VASc score of 1. This may reflect methodological differences in studies and unrecorded anticoagulation use at followup, but further prospective studies are required to ascertain ischemic stroke risks, as well as the differences and reasons for this between East Asians and non-East Asians.
