In article number 2003052 Ho Won Jang, Jong-Heun Lee and co-workers review the recent advances in hybrid photocatalysts using metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and MOF-derived nanostructures for solar fuel production and suggest the key physicochemical parameters to determine photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical reactions. The synergistic enhancement of solar fuel production by rational design of MOF-based hybrids is emphasized and perspectives on the future development of the field are provided.
