GC determination of contents of topiramate and its preparations

Objective:To establish a GC method to determine the contents of topiramate and its preparations.Methods:Using capillary column of HP-15(30 m×0.32 mm×0.25 μm),and FID detector under following chromatography condition:column temperature was 200 ℃.Injector temperature was set at 220 ℃ and detector at 280 ℃ respectively,Splitless.the gas flow rate of N2was 4.0 mL·min-1,H2 was 35.0 mL·min-1,air was 300.0 mL·min-1.Results:The calibration curves showed good linearity in the range of 250-750 μg·mL-1,correlation coefficients was 0.9844.The average recoveries(n=9)was 100.3%,and RSD was 1.9%。Conclusion:The method is good in the aspect of reproducibility and sensitivity.It can be used to control the contents of topiramate and its preparations.
