Die Elektrochemilumineszenz (ECL) eines integrierten Systems aus einem CdS-Nanokristall(NC)-Film und Au-Nanopartikeln (NP) kann von magnetischen Co2+-Ionen ohne Einsatz eines äußeren Magnetfelds kontrolliert gelöscht werden. Die Ursache ist eine spinpolarisierte Modulation der Elektron-Loch-Rekombination durch ferromagnetische Ausrichtung von Co2+ in der Nähe der Au-NPs.
