Abstract Anhand von NMR‐Untersuchungen wird bestätigt, daß die Spaltung der C‐Fe‐σ‐Bindung im threo‐Fe‐Komplex (II) mit Hg(II)‐chlorid unter Retention, mit Brom unter Inversion der Konfiguration erfolgt; es entstehen die Produkte (I) bzw. (III).
