ChemInform Abstract: An Uncomplexed 1,2,3‐Triborolane Derivative.

The compound (III), which crystallizes in the space group Pnma with Z=4 and incorporates the first C 2 B 3 ring system without complexation, is obtained from the reaction of dicyclopentadiene (II) with the borane (I) upon treatment with sodium/potassium alloy.
