Applying structural and functional MRI techniques, we assessed the modifications of brain gray matter (GM) volumes, white matter (WM) architecture and patterns of activations of the mirror neuron system (MNS) following action observation training (AOT) in healthy controls (HC) and multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, and their correlations with improvement of motor performance.
