A volatile cyclic metallaphosphazene; preparation and X-ray structure of [(CF3)2PN]2NVCl2

The reaction of (CF)P(Cl) [[double bond, length half m-dash]] NSiMe and MeSiN [[double bond, length half m-dash]] VCl in CHCl leads to volatile [(CF)PN]NVCl; the -ray structure analysis shows a planar six-membered NVNPNP-ring with molecular symmetry.
