An entry from the Cambridge Structural Database, the world’s repository for small molecule crystal structures. The entry contains experimental data from a crystal diffraction study. The deposited dataset for this entry is freely available from the CCDC and typically includes 3D coordinates, cell parameters, space group, experimental conditions and quality measures.

In situ fabrication of a sensitive electrochemical toluene sensor probe using wet-chemically prepared ternary ZnO/MgO/Cr2O3 nanofiber (NF)-decorated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) with Nafion adhesive was the approach of this study.
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(17)H(19)NOS, contains two independent mol-ecules which differ in the dihedral angles between the five- and six-membered rings [12.52 (10) and 4.63 (11)°]. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the two independent mol-ecules into pseudocentrosymmetric dimers. In one mol-ecule, the O atom of the carbonyl group is disordered over two positions in a 0.699 (4):0.301 (4) ratio.
