Article SYNTHESIS OF 1-P-SULF AM YLPHEN YL-3 TRIFLUOROMETHYLPYRAZOLES CLASS OF CYCLOOXYGENASE-2 INHIBITORS was published on October 1, 2003 in the journal Heterocyclic Communications (volume 9, issue 5).
A new method for description of molecular networks and packings is proposed and implemented into the program package TOPOS.
In this paper, Au nanoparticles/reduced graphene oxide (AuNPs/rGO) nanocomposites were prepared through a one-pot strategy, carried out by heating the mixture of HAuCl4 and graphene oxide solution at 90 °C under alkaline condition. The resultant AuNPs/rGO nanocomposites were found to exhibit good catalytic performance toward H2O2 reduction and oxidation as well as hydrazine oxidation. The electrochemical sensing application of the nanocomposites for H2O2, glucose, and hydrazine was also demonstrated successfully.
The book Carbon Nanotubes - Recent Progress contains a number of recent researches on synthesis, growth, characterization, development, and potential applications on carbon materials especially CNTs in nanoscale. It is a promising novel research from top to bottom that has received a lot of interest in the last few decades. It covers the advanced topics on the physical, chemical, and potential applications of CNTs. Here, the interesting reports on cutting-edge science and technology related to synthesis, morphology, control, hybridization, and prospective applications of CNTs are concluded. This potentially unique work offers various approaches on the R&D implementation of carbon-related materials and their hybrids. Basically, we know that nanotechnology offers the regulating of substances at the nanoscale and nanodimension substances in few nanometers, in which exclusive phenomenon facilitates us to control the novel practical applications with carbon materials or CNTs. Here, in this book, an overview of current CNTs' fundamental and substantial applications and enactment of the research worldwide is presented. The techniques of CNT preparation, types of carbon material utilization, and possible applications related with CNTs or carbon-hybrid material researches were investigated. It is an important booklet for research organizations, governmental research centers, academic libraries, and R&D affianced in recent research and development of carbon nanotubes.
An entry from the Cambridge Structural Database, the world’s repository for small molecule crystal structures. The entry contains experimental data from a crystal diffraction study. The deposited dataset for this entry is freely available from the CCDC and typically includes 3D coordinates, cell parameters, space group, experimental conditions and quality measures.
Simultaneous measurement of the electrical contact resistance (ECR) during nanoindentation of a Pd-based bulk metallic glass (BMG) shows discontinuities in the current during the loading segment. Through an analysis of the effective change in the contact area that occurs due to the plastic flow via shear banding, we show that the current surges, which are synchronous with the displacement bursts, are associated with shear band nucleation and/or propagation. The potential of nano-ECR measurements for monitoring plastic events in BMGs is discussed.
In the title compound, C(23)H(17)N(3)O, significant deviations from planarity are evidenced. This is quanti-fied in the dihedral angles formed between the central amino-benzene ring and the benzene rings of the meth-oxy-benzene [67.93 (8)°] and 1,2-dihydro-naphthalene [28.27 (8)°] residues. In the crystal the amino-H atoms form hydrogen bonds to the meth-oxy-O atom and to one of the cyano-N atoms to generate a two-dimensional array with a zigzag topology that stacks along the ([Formula: see text][Formula: see text] 1) plane.
