Vibration suppression of blisk using piezoelectric shunt damping with negative capacitance

This paper studies the vibration suppression of the blisk by using the piezoelectric shunt damping based on the negative capacitance. The cyclic symmetry theory is employed to establish the dynamic model of the blisk with negative capacitance. Considering the damping in the electromechanical model, this paper employed the complex mode theory to analyse the dynamic response. The applicability of the proposed model is verified by comparing the eigenfrequencies and frequency response with the commercial software. Finally, the effect of RL and RLNC circuits on vibration suppression are discussed.
