Ultraviolet absorption spectra of HNCS and DNCS

Ultraviolet absorption spectra of HNCS and DNCS have been photographed in the 2200–3400 Å region. Four band progressions have been identified of which two of them seem to have origin in the upper state bending vibration of the NCS linkage.
