The files contained in this repository are the Language and Social Background Questionnaire (LSBQ) and an Excel file that automatically calculates factor scores based on the findings of our paper: The Language and Social Background Questionnaire: Assessing Degree of Bilingualism in a Diverse Population. Additionally, we include the polychoric correlation matrix used to generate the factor analysis. Items hilighted in red have absolute correlations < 0.3 (for colour, please download the file). We dropped items where more than 50% of the correlations were below this threshold.PLEASE NOTE: When we were developing the questionnaire, some items were scored out of 100. The newest version of the LSBQ scores everything out of 10. We have not yet updated the Excel sheet calculator to reflect this, so when you encounter a column scored out of 100, multiply the raw scores by 10. If you use this questionnaire, please cite the following paper:Anderson, J. A., Mak, L., Keyvani Chahi, A. K., & Bialystok, E. (2017).
