THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL AND SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES ON THE ADAPTATION AND RECOVERY OF THE UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY IN BRASOV COUNTY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE ARMED CONFLICT IN UKRAINE
SWS International Scientific Conference on Social Sciences 11: 131-138
The study establishes the context of the armed conflict in Ukraine and the importance of understanding its impact on the Ukrainian refugee community (URC), exploring how digital technologies (such as social networks and online resources) have influenced the adaptation and recovery process of URC in Bra?ov. In this context, previous research on the conflict in Ukraine and its impact on Ukrainian communities was analyzed, identifying the role of digital and social technologies in the adaptation and recovery process of these communities. The methods and tools used in the research, as well as how participants were selected and data analyzed, allowed for the examination of the role that social technologies (such as online support groups and collaboration through social platforms) played in facilitating the adaptation and recovery of the community. A separate topic open for discussion within the study represents the role of authorities and non-governmental organizations in supporting the Ukrainian community in the adaptation and recovery process, with a focus on the use of digital and social technologies.
