The development of a sinusoidal voltage in thin ferromagnetic films and the measurement of low magnetic fields

Magnetoresistance measurements have been made in thin films using a special experimental set-up. Effects due to a rotating magnetic field applied in the sample plane have been studied when the sample is saturated and when it is unsaturated, and they have been used to measure low magnetic fields with the sample acting as a detector.
