The first experimental demonstration that two phase-locked loops driven by a common chaotic signal derived from a master phase-locked loop can be synchronized under some suitably chosen but robust range of system parameters is reported. Experimental observations are completely consistent with both computer simulations and with the recent synchronization criterion due to L. M. Pecora and T. L. Carrol (1990, 1991). The robustness of this synchronization scheme suggests the intriguing possibility of achieving secure communication through chaos.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
