The hydrogel system loaded with β-lapachone and CuCys nanoparticles can synchronously boost intracellular reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species levels, thereby synergistically enhancing the anti-tumor efficacy. This hydrogel is suitable as a platform for extending NO-associated medical applications.
