Two new compounds, (I) bis-μ-(trimethylsilylmethanolato-O)-bis[bis(trimethylsilylmethyl)gallium] and (II) bis-μ-(trimethylsilylmethanolato-O)-bis[bis(trimethylsilylmethyl)indium], have been obtained with dimeric structures, with planar four-membered Ga 2 O 2 and In 2 O 2 rings, respectively
