Solvent‐assisted micro‐contact molding (SAMIM) , a non‐photo‐lithographic technique for fabriation of patterned, quasi‐three‐dimensional structures on surfaces of many different polymers, is described. The basis of the technique–an embossing/molding process in which a solvent softens a polymer–is out lined and many examples are given.
