The results of the investigation of solubility of several transition metal chlorides (NiCl 2 , CrCl 2 , MoCl 3 , FeCl 2 ) in KCl-AlCl 3 based melts are presented. The effect of KCl : AlCl 3 mole ratio and melt temperature on solubility of studied metal chlorides is considered.
