The selective oxidation of linear and cyclic alkanes and alkenes of different sizes has been carried out using Ti-Beta zeolite in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. This zeolite shows a higher activity than TS-1 for the oxidation of cyclic olefins. Moreover, the influence of Ti and Al content on the activity of Ti-Beta samples is discussed.
