The Ru–Fe 4 C/NCNF (Ru : Fe = 1 : 6) catalyst exhibits excellent catalytic performance ( η 10 = 106 mV and η 100 = 254 mV). The prepared catalyst can be used as a self-supporting working electrode and it shows excellent stability.
