Phage amplified biologically assay (PhaB) is a microbiology laboratory technique closing to bacterial culture,which can quickly and accurately detect Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In recent years,it is attracting more attention in the study of tuberculosis diagnosis. Researches at home and abroad have shown that PhaB is a simple, rapid, safe and reliable detection method, and with high sensitivity and specificity. This article describes the research progress of PhaB in the diagnosis of tuberculosis.
