Pediatric musculoskeletal trauma accounts for a considerable number of childhood injuries. While radiographs continue to be the mainstay of imaging skeletal injuries in the emergency department, a variety of other imaging modalities are available to assist the emergency medicine physician. The radiological assessment and description of pediatric fractures will be reviewed.
