Potassium 3D fine-structure effects on coupled non-linear processes

The detailed competition mechanism between two Stokes waves in stimulated multipole Raman scattering in the presence of a coupled four wave parameteric process has been studied in K. The amplification of the coupled nonlinear processes is discussed. Based on the experimental data an expression is given to account for the interdependence.
