Abstract

On page 8937, Y. Yang, X.-F. Yu, and co-workers demonstrate the successful fabrication of a wideband bifacial dye-sensitized-solar-cell using black phosphorus quantum dots in the photocathode. Due to the fast carrier transfer and complementary light absorption of black phosphorus, the cell delivers 20% enhancement in light-to-electron efficiency, demonstrating potential to use the solution-processable black phosphorus in photovoltaic devices.
