Abstract

Titanium ligand coordinated black phosphorus quantum dots (TiL4@BPQDs) are fabricated as a new photoacoustic imaging agent by Han Zhang, Huaiyu Wang, Xue-Feng Yu, and co-workers in article number 1602896. The TiL4@BPQDs exhibit high stability and high spatial resolution in detecting tumors clearly, demonstrating the great potential as an efficient contrast agent in photoacoustic imaging of cancer.
