OBJECTIVE:To establish an assay method for the dissolution of Sitaierkang capsules.METHODS:The assay was performed using UV-VIS spectrophotometry with detection wavelength at 318 nm in accordance with the third method of ⅩC dissolution assay stated in the appendix of Chinese Pharmacopeia(Edition 2005).RESULTS:The dissolution rates of the three batches samples were all above 75%within 30min.CONCLUSION:This method can be applied for the dissolution assay of Staierkang capsules.
