High molecular weight hyperbranched polyarylenes have been synthesized in high yields by onepot copolycyclotrimerizations of aromatic diynes with monoynes catalyzed by CpCo(CO) 2 in toluene. The structures and properties of the polymers have been characterized and evaluated by GPC, NMR and TGA.
