Nanoscopic lens modeling

Mathjax On | Off Abstract The important effects of the inertia of nanoparticles have been identified and verified by performing detailed calculations of electric-field-induced particle motion with electrosprayed nanoparticles. Accordingly, focusing can be controlled by changing the curvature of the electric field lines. Here we discuss some of the simulations carried out so far in order to understand the concept of the nanoscopic lens.
