Abstract
1 min read
Electrospun nanofibers made of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and its copolymers or blends shrink to generate crimping features along the fibers when they are treated with ethanol, a plasticizer for PLA. On page 2583, S. Thomopoulos, Y. Xia, and co-workers demonstrate that the degree of crimping can be controlled to provide a new platform for tendon repair.
