Mutations in the non-nucleoside binding-pocket interfere with the multi-nucleoside resistance phenotype

Changes in the non-nucleoside binding pocket must affect the conformation of residues at the dNTP binding site, and can result in a partial phenotypic reversal of the multi-nucleoside resistance phenotype.
