This symposium brings together a panel of leading researchers to delve into the cutting-edge research in multiparty alliances. Our focus is to further unpack the unique features and dynamics of multiparty alliances that are not present in either dyadic strategic alliances or inter- organizational networks. By examining various contexts of multiparty alliances using a mixture of theoretical approaches and different methodologies, we aim to provide important and new insights into our understanding of multiparty alliances of different aspects along their lifecycle, including formation, governance, structural changes, and the resulting outcomes of such dynamics.
