This chapter focuses on three targets of sustainable development goals (SDGs), establishes their interconnectedness, and reports on their status in Pakistan. These include targets 5.A and 5.B of sustainable development goals (SDGs). Target 5.A aims at gender equality to guarantee economic empowerment, as reflected in its indicators: 5.A.1, which measures the proportion of women who own land or are engaged in agriculture, and 5.A.2, which assesses the existence of legal frameworks supporting women's rights to economic participation in the local context of Pakistan. Target 5.B seeks to promote increased utilization of technology to harvest the economic benefits. The study concludes that for achieving target 5 A and 5B of SDGs much needs to be done in terms of legal frameworks and to promote the use of technology for Pakistani women.
