Rost trumpft auf! Die Titelreaktion gelang mithilfe einer partikelgestützten Abscheidungstechnik und einer IrO2-Oberflächenkatalyse. Der Photostrom betrug bei +1.23 V gegen die reversible Wasserstoffelektrode bei simuliertem Sonnenlicht (AM 1.5 G 100 mW cm−2) mehr als 3 mA cm−2.
