Kinetics and Equilibria of Proton Exchange in the Lowest Excited Singlet State of 1-Hydroxyfluorene in Aqueous Solutions — Arsenio Muñoz de la Peña (1985) | RDL Network
Abstract The determination of the rate constants for proton exchange in the lowest excited singlet state of 1-hydroxyfluorene from the pH dependences of its fluorescence spectra is performed in aqueous solutions. Also, the excited singlet state acidity constant of this compound, obtained from fluorescence titration of both conjugate acid and base forms an from the averages of the absorption and fluorescence maxima, is reported.
