In Long Term Evolution - Advanced (LTE-A), the scheduler in the MAC layer of the eNode-B allocates the available radio resources among various UEs in a cell through proper handling of priority. Indeed, the throughput condition must be verified against various scheduling occurrences of the LTE-A. Carrier Aggregation (CA), developed for LTE-Advanced systems use both Joint User Scheduling (JUS) and Separated Random User Scheduling (SRUS) schemes. It is noteworthy that while the latter is straight forward, but weak, the former performs maximally but very complicated. This work aims to investigate the throughput conditions for two widely known scheduling techniques for the purpose of demonstrating ideal yardstick for downlink transmission by using CA technique. This research considered several MIMO transmission strategies, such as Transmit Diversity (TxD), Open Loop Spatial Multiplexing (OLSM) and Closed Loop Spatial Multiplexing (CLSM). The research is carried out in different UE locations inside a cell in order to choose the mode of communication, giving the Cumulative Distribution Function CDF together with throughput to obtain the ideal consumption of the resource scheduling.
