This report examines the extension of the classical information analysis of radar systems to more general situations arising in modern radar practice. In particular, the introduction of dynamics into parameter modeling is considered in an information theoretical context. Such a treatment is motivated by the need to consider parameter dynamics in discrimination-mode radar signal processor design. Expected applications of the proposed techniques include development of theoretical performance limitations which can be used as benchmarks to which the performance of practical systems can be compared.
