In-vehicle flexray network security based on modified AES encryption algorithm

With the acceleration of automobile electronics and automation, and the constant maturity of technology, the safety and independence of the in-vehicle network system can no longer be guaranteed. Cars enhance the driving pleasure for the driver by connecting to smart phones, Bluetooth, the Internet, etc. Instead, it brings hacking, security loopholes , and other security issues that cannot be ignored, which seriously affects car driving safety, personal privacy, and even endangers public safety.This article is aimed at the safety of data transmission on the vehicle FlexRay bus, adopts the MixColumn method to improve the AES encryption algorithm comprehensively Compared with the traditional AES encryption algorithm, the modified AES encryption algorithm proposed in this paper increases the encryption speed and decryption speed by 26% and 30% respectively, which suits the real-time requirements of the actual vehicle bus network system. This further improves the security and real-time performance of vehicle Flexray bus information transmission.
