In Situ Growth of NiSe Nanowire Film on Nickel Foam as an Electrode for High‐Performance Supercapacitors

Abstract We report on the facile one‐step hydrothermal preparation of a NiSe nanowire film on nickel foam (NiSe/NF) as a novel binder‐free electrode material for supercapacitors. This electrode delivers a high specific capacitance of 1790 F g −1 and an areal capacitance of 5.01 F cm −2 at a current density of 5 A g −1 .
