Abstract

Suitable reagents for ortho-palladation are palladium(II) acetate and trifluoroacetate. Thus, it is possible to prepare the complexes (1) from these compounds and dibenzyl sulf-oxide or dibenzyl sulfide. Hitherto, only arylthioketones could be ortho-palladated (R = CH3, CF3; X = SO1 S).
